Section – Junior
Parents! We ask you to allow the youth to do the work and preparation of the exhibits without assistance. Encourage them in every way, but remember that every bit of work you do for them defeats the object of the Junior Section.
Junior is anyone 18 years old and under. They are not required to pay an entry fee when entering the Junior Home craft section.
Junior Home craft will be accepted at the Libro Auditorium Thursday June 5, 2025, 3:00 pm to 5 pm or 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Please obtain Exhibitor Numbers at this time. Judging will begin Friday, June 6th, 2025. at 9:30 am. Exhibits will be open to viewing at approximately 6:00 pm Friday June 6th, 2025.
Entries can be picked up on Saturday June 7th, 2025 between between 4:00 pm & 5:00 pm, or on Sunday June 8th, 2025 between 9:00 am and 12 noon.
Entry sheets are attached or can be printed off the website. - www.clintonspringfair.com. Entry forms available at your school. Please complete everything except the exhibitor number, We have attached an example copy of the Exhibitor Class form and an entry tag.

Section J1 Crafts

Section J2 Amateur Photography
Pictures must be the work of the Exhibitor
Pictures 35mm or Digital are accepted. No larger than 5” x 7” (12.5 cm x 18 cm) Entries should be mounted on white Bristol board with 1” (2.5 cm) border around pictures for display, but not framed. One print per class.

Entries should be in clear plastic bags, tied, and displayed on suitable plates. Entry tag taped to bag.

SPECIAL – PLAIN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES COMPETITION OPEN TO YOUTH UP TO 15 YEARS (as of December 31st of current year) The winner of this class will be eligible to enter the District 8 Competition. The winner of the District 8 Competition will receive prize monies paid by the District. The entry will consist of 6 cookies displayed in a clean, sturdy plate (no paper plates) – cookies no larger than 2.5” (6.5 cm),l not less than 2” (5 cm)

2025 Elementary
We encourage students to participate in the Arts and Crafts section of the Junior Class, in addition to the Elementary section below.
All entries are welcome.
Clinton Spring Fair theme for 2025 is”Huron County Spirit”
Entries will be picked up on Monday, June 2, 2025 by a member of the fair board.
We will do our best to return all entries to the schools the week following the fair.
KINDERGARDEN – GRADE 4
Kindergarden – create a paper plate cow,
Grade 1 – Trace your hand and make one animal or creature
Grade 2 – Crayon drawing of a farmer
Grade 3 – Make a lady bug using any media
Grade 4 – Three drawn and coloured flowers
Special: Prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in grade K to 4
GRADE 5 – GRADE 8
Grade 5 – Create a farm vehicle using any media
Grade 6 – Cut a magazine picture in half and draw them other half
Grade 7 – Create a stained glass window using tissue paper and construction paper
Grade 8 – Story titled “Huron County Spirit”
Special: Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in Grades 5-8.
